Barry Humm, our mate, was a retired Police Officer and RAF ground crew. He wanted the 3 of us to do this rally in order to raise funds for Cancer Research. 

We are funding this out of our own pockets and all the donations made will go straight to Cancer Research.

He suggested we did this together at a time when he knew he was dying of Cancer. It would give him something else to aim at and keep him going that bit longer. Unfortunately he didn't make it. But he instructed Chris and Rodz that they must carry on with the effort.

Barry was selfless in his last few months and undertook experimental treatments and operations that he knew probably wouldn't help him, but he stated they may help those who come along after him. 

We want this to be another strand to his legacy, and provide cash for Cancer Research in order that they continue their important work.
