Story

We are going Gung-Ho! for BBC Children in Need.

This year we’ve joined up with the amazing team over at Gung-Ho! so we can have a day to remember whilst raising money that’ll really help change lives.

A 5k run like no other, the Gung-Ho! course includes 10 giant inflatable obstacles to make this challenge unforgettable. The course is totally unique and really accessible – and the best bit - you don’t need to be an elite athlete to take part.

Bring along family, friends and colleagues to Gosforth race course at 12pm for the Children In Need race to watch your team take on gigantic ball pits, super-sized slides and a 5,000 square foot inflatable moon walk (yes you read that correctly!) and the Mighty Mountain Finish slide of which we have to climb up 30 feet after a 5k run... .....Yes its going to be hard! But all worth it in the end.

You will be able to catch all the fun on the BBC Look North Facebook page and the BBC Local live site from all our Go Pro action that we will be using, plus some interviews before, during and after the race if we can!
