This year is BBM’s 10th anniversary year. We had intended to fundraise for Caithness charities during this 10th anniversary year, but have been unable to do so in the way we had intended because of the pandemic. Last month we were delighted to hand over a donation of £500 to Home-Start Caithness, a fantastic local charity who do such great work within our community. The team of volunteers at the Caithness branch of Home-Start visit families at home each week, supporting parents in situations as diverse as isolation, bereavement, multiple births, illness, disability or who are just finding parenting a struggle. They provide non-judgemental, practical and emotional support and help build the family’s confidence and ability to cope.

We now hope to raise a bit more money for Home-Start Caithness through this challenge, which we expect to be both physically and mentally challenging for our team (especially given the time of year)! Your support, encouragement and donations to Home-Start Caithness will be gratefully received and appreciated, from both us and the team at Home-Start Caithness.
