TREK 50 2014 · 21 June 2014 to 22 June 2014 ·

Based in Manchester, MedEquip4Kids improves the health of babies and children in the UK by providing equipment not available from limited NHS resources. Because we value all aspects of children’s wellbeing, we also deliver workshops in schools to support young people’s mental health.

Story

We successfully completed the route in just over 21hrs (3hrs ahead of target!). Really pleased with our performance, and we won the trophy for fastest mixed team too! Thanks everyone for your support!

*************************************************************

A team of intrepid explorers from Blackhurst Budd Solicitors, keen to face a challenge, but not too concerned about their own wellbeing, have signed up for this gruelling challenge.

The Trek50 begins at 7am on 21st June and covers 50 miles around the beautiful Pennine countryside. The full distance must completed in under 24 hours so there is no time for dawdling (or sleep!).

The team consists of:-

Iain Blundell

Katy Shakeshaft

Faye Harper

Caron Bridson

Janine Cato

(with Jim Egan on standby).

None of our team are experienced walkers (or trekkers) and this is sure to be quite a challenge!

We are raising funds for an excellent charity, MedEquip4Kids. They do a lot of very worthwhile work, helping children and families in times of illness. More information is available on their website.
