Hello everyone, as you probably all know I was diagnosed officially with multiple sclerosis in April 2019 after 9 months of symptoms, tests and hospital admissions.
I am very lucky to be under an incredible hospital with an amazing team of neurologists & nurses.
MS has changed my life forever. Everyday I am forced to make decisions based on my MS, some big some, small. I have yearly MRIs and 6 monthly consultant appointments.
When I was at my worst in October 2018 I was fearful I may never be the ‘same’ again and I am not. I suffer from invisible symptoms daily.
I did not imagine I would ever walk normally again, let alone complete a 10k run. This is particularly hard for me as there will be days where my legs feel like led.
The MS trust has supported me by providing me with support and information. I also have a dedicated MS nurse (provided by the MS trust).
On a more lighter note, if you wanna see some very unfit BBW run then donate & I will try to ensure someone gets some good photos 😂
