We are a group of close friends all touched by cancer in different ways. We want to support the wonderful work of MacMillan and at the same time celebrate and embrace life and the power of friendship through taking on the challenge. 

MacMillan have played a powerful role in my own journey with breast cancer this year, providing support when I needed it most. Their invaluable support also allowed my beloved  mum to have the death she wanted, at home, surrounded by family. Raising money for them is one small way in which I can say thank you for these priceless gifts..

Currently, I can’t quite see how I’m going to be able to walk 26 miles in only a few months time. My body and energy levels are still battered by treatment. But I’m absolutely up for the challenge and hope you will support me. Bring it on!
