At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

In memory of Clive Gathercole, our dear friend and former CFO, who we sadly lost last year, Michele Lawley and the UK and Ireland Senior Management Team have agreed to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon (1085m, 3560ft), the second highest mountain in the British Isles.  All proceeds will be directed to the Princess Alice Hospice who nursed and cared for Clive with such compassion and kindness in his final days and we feel is a wholly worthwhile cause.

For those of you who did not know Clive, he was an extremely active fellow, a keen runner and would appreciate the efforts of the team he worked alongside to take on such a mighty challenge!

This is no mean task for a group of folk who generally claim to be 'couch potatoes' and would rather be enjoying fine wine and a decent meal!

So please dig deep and help sponsor the Senior Team on this challenging climb, but more importantly you will be sending money to a excellent charity who more than cared for our dear friend and colleague.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Hospice. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs.

Thank you for sponsoring the BCD Team on this worthwhile challenge!
