Poverty in the UK includes 2.3 million children in absolute low income unable to obtain food. The Resolution Foundation estimate that UK absolute poverty will rise in 2022/23 by 1.3 million including 500,000 children. In 2021 the Black Country Foodbank distributed 536,037 food meals across the Black Country, 37% of these meals to children. These figures are staggering, real and increasing. Whether you can relate geographically to the Black Country or not, the problem is massive and UK wide; so an opportunity here for your support please.

My nephew Thomas and I walked the West Highland Way, Scotland 96 miles, 3,155M altitude in five days, then day six, ascended 1,345M high Ben Nevis; all costs and kit borne are by ourselves.
