Together as three Student Nurses and one Nurse Lecturer we’ve decided to hike and (hopefully!) conquer the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon. We’ll be covering a distance of approximately 13km over a variety of terrains with steep inclines and declines, come rain or shine!!

But why? 

Nursing is our passion. It is who we are and it is what we do, but we also know and see first hand how hard it can be from a personal, professional and financial standpoint. It can really begin to take its toll in so many ways, and the reality is, any of us could find ourselves in a situation where we needed help. Where would we turn? Cavell Nurses’ Trust are there to bridge this gap for healthcare staff who are experiencing personal or financial difficulties, many finding themselves at crisis or even breaking point. We know we can help, so the question is really, why not? Let’s help the people that look after us, to look after themselves.
