Story
Bowel cancer is something that affects many people and affects my own extended family directly.
Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer. Over 42,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK, with about 268,000 people in the UK living with this disease. Unfortunately more than 16,000 people die from bowel cancer in the UK every year.
However, the good news is that bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. I am taking part in Decembeard 2019 to support Bowel Cancer UK. All the money raised will help stop people dying of bowel cancer by funding vital services and lifesaving research.
Thank you for your support.
