Thank You for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided that it's time for me to be brave. My Dad has been brave, he has endured the trauma of cancer twice and fought it successfully. To celebrate this and to encourage you to donate any amount you might be able to afford to my charity of choice 'Cancer Research UK', I have decided to jump out of an airplane at about 4000 metres, then free fall for about 1 minute, travelling at 200km/h towards earth, before the parachute opens (hopefully) and I can enjoy the views of Lake Constance, Germany.
Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK. Their work has saved millions of lives in the UK and across the world. They spend around £300 million on research every year funding over 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.
With your help, we can continue to make a difference to the lives of many people affected by cancer.
Here are some examples how the money you give can help:
The work of Cancer Research has contributed to the improvement of survival rates and quality of life for cancer patients.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you very much for your support.
