on 15/6/2019 we lost my Mum following a 3 year battle with cancer. When she died she was being cared for by the incredible staff at St David's Hospice. SHe felt comfortable and cared for and they were a huge support for our entire family.

It costs £3 million a year for the hospice to provide its services. This ammounts to £8000 a day or £351 an hour. Just under £500,000 of this comes from NHSfunding but the additional £2.5 million needs to come from donations and fundraising.

In July 2021 I will be running in the Montane Lakeland 50 ultramarathon. It's a 50 mile race through the lake district with 3100m of ascent. I hope to raise as much as I can for the hospice as a way to show my gratitude.
