Thank you for visiting our page. This is a Beacon Family Services team event to raise Money for Adoption UK.

Because we are not crazy enough to sign up to complete a whole marathon on our own! As a team, we are going to run/walk/skip/jump as far as we can and then add all our totals up to see how many marathons we can achieve. 

Times are tough for every family but it’s especially challenging for those parenting children who have experienced neglect or abuse. Trauma experienced in their early lives has a lasting impact on their relationships, health and learning. That’s not fair! Adoption gives children a second chance of stability, permanence, and the love and nurture that all children need yet it’s not a simple quick fix. We won’t stop until every family has what they need to thrive, and each child has the best chance of a brighter future. Together we are family
