Smile Train provides free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children in developing countries. Through training local doctors and empowering partner hospitals around the world, we advance a sustainable solution and scalable model to treat clefts, drastically improving children’s lives, including their ability to eat, breathe, and speak over time.

Before I was born my mum and dad found out I would be born with a cleft lip. There were lots of questions, some that couldn't be answered until I was born, so mum and dad were very worried.

When I was born, I had a cleft palate as well as cleft lip and I needed surgery to correct it. I have had 4  surgeries so far and hopefully won't need any more.

I would like to raise money for Smile Train so they can keep on helping families like mine  & I love reading so am challenging myself to read 100 books in one year. 

£150 will pay for one cleft surgery, I would like to raise money for 2 surgeries!
