A friend of mine's son Charlie Canavan was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries before he was born, he was born on the 27th of November 2013 and had a life saving surgery when he was just over a week old. Charlie is now doing well thanks to Birmingham Childrens Hospital and the life saving research that is done by the British Heart Foundation.
