Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Where: Outside the Royal Exchange

When: Thursday 3rd September and Friday 4th September from 11:30am through to 2:30pm

What:

This Embody fitness event is designed to raise funds and awareness for diabetes. All money raised will be donated equally to two of the leading diabetes charities, JDRF and Diabetes UK, both of whom will be joining us on the day. Diabetes is a growing problem given the global change in western lifestyles and all proceeds raised will be helping with raising awareness, support for those suffering from the condition and also funding research into finding a cure.

We are inviting all members of the public to text a donation to these charities in order to compete on one, or all, of our three power exercise stations and attempt to beat our trainer’s best scores! The male and female with the highest aggregate score over the two days will win an introductory body transformation package with Embody Fitness, with other prizes for second and third for both Men and Women.

As well as this we will be joined by Fresh Fitness Foods who will be providing healthy, low-sugar food samples which will hopefully demonstrate some great recipes for people to try and also show that healthy food doesn’t have to be bland!

Please come and join us for the event, show your natural ability on any of our stations and donate to a very worthy cause. But most importantly, have some fun alongside our Embody Fitness team of trainers.
