Homelessness in Nottingham has reached crisis point in recent years, with increasing numbers of rough sleepers in the city centre. Beat The Streets aims to bring our community together to tackle homelessness and raise vital funds to support people in need.
On Sunday 28 January 2018, over 80 national and local musicians will play across more than ten stages in Nottingham, including Rock City, Rock City Basement, Black Cherry Lounge, Rescue Rooms, Red Room, Rescue Rooms Bar, Stealth rooms 1 & 2, The Bodega and The Bodega Bar.
All proceeds from our event, including bar revenue from the aforementioned venues, tickets sales, and merchandise sales will go to Framework; a Nottinghamshire based charity dedicated to bettering the lives of homeless people.
Event tickets are available to purchase on www.alttickets.com/beat-the-streets-tickets at a recommended donation price of £10 (minimum donation £5). If you would like to give a further or alternative donation* towards our cause of helping Nottingham’s homeless people, please give generously here!
*Please note that any contributions via Just Giving do not count towards the donation cost of a Beat The Streets event ticket. Tickets are available via alttickets.com & gigantic.com
Beat The Streets is being delivered by DHP Family in collaboration with Framework and a host of local organisations, including I’m Not From London; Farmyard Records; Hockley Hustle and Rough Trade. We are always on the lookout for more collaborators from the worlds of music, art & design, food, and business. If you would like to get involved and work with us on this event, please contact email@example.com
