Story

On the day we should be getting married (August 1st 2020), I have decided to try and run a Half Marathon to raise some money for Maggie’s, which is a charity I recently learnt of through my friend Ness, who is currently kicking cancer’s ass, along with our friend Sal 💪🏼.

Over the last 6 months, this gorgeous pair have been absolutely awe inspiring in their determination and strength, especially with the added obstacle and stress of Covid 19.

If you haven’t heard of Maggie’s, like I hadn’t, it is a charity which provides a free service to help with day to day, practical support for cancer patients, offering a wide range of services, from advice and emotional support to courses, for cancer patients and their families; I know they are a particular help to Ness. ❤️

Please read Nessa’s story here:

Please donate what you can, you’ll have a year to save for a pint or two at the wedding!

I will be running it solo and tracking the half marathon on Strava and will post on the day, as there are no official races occurring at the moment.
