I want to support the amazing marathon effort of Iona Primary School running club this summer. I was due to take part in the Great North Run on 9th September but frustratingly, due to ill-health, I had to defer my entry. 

So, I'm now running the Great Scottish Run on 29th September instead...! After 2 weeks off training, I've got the trainers back on and I'm determined to get back to full strength to raise lots of money for the Iona Village Hall Campaign!

Iona Village Hall holds a lot of happy memories: Tuesday/Friday night dances, kids' birthday parties, family and friends' wedding receptions, New Years, 'street' hockey, badminton, music festivals, beetle drives... But what is more exciting is the incredible potential of a purpose-built community hub. In contributing to this campaign you will be helping to forge new memories for future generations and more opportunities for everyone who loves this island to come together in community.
