Twelve years ago I rode my first distance ride on my 55th birthday.  It was this very same CHAFE ride for education.  My friends and family exceeded all expectations in their support of my ride and this cause.  We all probably remember the joy of getting to pick out our very own books from the Scholastic Reader program....back when the only books we generally read were from the library?  I have seen how the local Book Trust program is inspiring ALL of our local little readers and building the essential foundation for success in life.  For some this will be the only books they will own.  I would love to have you on my "ride for literacy" team.  I will carry you with me for all 82 miles of the CHAFe ride through beautiful North Idaho.
