1 in 10 Challenge

10,000 Daily Steps in March for Endo · 23 February 2021
As 1 in 10 menstruators suffer with Endometriosis, I'm going to be completing 10,000 Steps every day in March to raise awareness of the condition & raise money for Endometriosis UK.
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis at 20years old. The condition runs in the family, but it still took 5+years of telling the GP about my symptoms before they took it seriously and sent me for tests. I'm fortunate that it was caught in the early stages and recieve treatment to reduce the symptoms, However, I know it is only a temporary "fix" as there is no cure for Endo. I know a lot of people don't find out until much later, when the condition is harder to manage and are already experiencing fertility problems. I want to raise awareness of Endo to make people aware of the symptoms & recognise what isn't 'normal' period pain.
Will you support Endometriosis UK to #EndoTheStigma by taking on the 1 in 10 challenge? This Endometriosis Awareness Month we are asking our supporters to join in the 1 in 10 challenge to support the 1 in 10 with endometriosis. The money you raise throughout the challenge will go a long way in helping us support those affected to get the support and healthcare they need.
