Story
So as some of you will be already be aware, I’m honoured to announce that I’ve been selected to represent the Brain Tumour Charity as a Young Ambassador. I want to make as big an impact as I can in this role and take on new challenges and venture out of my comfort zone for this incredible cause, so close to my heart. With that in mind I’ve made the bold decision to abseil down The Spinnaker Tower on the 28th July!! This is a particular challenge for me as heights terrify me but I’m determined to give it a whirl. I would be so grateful if you would sponsor me and spur me on to conquer my fear for a charity so close to my heart. 102,000 people are currently living with a brain tumour, and brain tumours kill more people under 40 than any other cancer. Research into brain tumours is extremely underfunded. Survival rates are just 14% and treatments haven't changed in the past 40 years.
Since my abseil, my Dad lost his battle with this cruel disease and I am more motivated than ever to help this incredible charity find the cure my Dad desperately needed. It may be too late for him but it’s not too late for you to make a difference and help thousands of others xx
