Story

Hi all -  I really want to  challenge myself to raise money for this charity so close to my heart.

First will be a 10 k run in the Southampton race , The following week climbing mount snowden in Wales followed by the worlds fastest zip wire annd the longest in Europe. Travels at 120 MPH.  Then the  following week is the toughest- a singular Hyrox. Hyrox is an 8k run, 1000m ski, 1000m row, 50m heavy sled push, 50 m heavy sled pull, 80m burpee broad jumps, 200m heavy farmers carry , 100m sandbag lunges and 100 wall balls. Why am I doing this ? Here’s Alfie’s story…..

Alfie Butler was diagnosed with a Ependymoma brain tumour when he was 8 months old, after 5 long years he sadly lost his battle on 2nd Jan 2020 when he was just 5 years old. His parents James & Charlotte set up Alfie's Wish as his legacy to help other children with cancer as they know just how tough life can be. The charity receives referrals from the hospital Young Lives vs Cancer social workers and supports children (0-16 yrs) with cancer in the UK by sending them on family days out to make memories together to a UK destination.

Please help supporting this amazing charity by sponsoring me in my month of madness .
