Story

On the 09/09/2020 a beautiful young lady passed away. This young

lady was a 'one-of-a-kind' close friend and partner in crime when it came to creating amazing painterly portraits for people.

Becki, Becjo, Bexster, Mad Auntie B were just a few names she
answered to.

Generous, kind and funny, everyone who met her naturally warmed to her. Becki lit up the room whenever she walked in, and people  immediately warmed to her.

She had the capacity to be such a great listener with an empathetic ear. Becki had such a generous heart, that she was always persuading
me to gift to more charitable causes.

One Saturday afternoon in September 2020 soon after Becki had
passed away, I was scrolling Facebook and this posting came up of a bear that had been created and thus far had no name. I thought I would ask Leanne the designer to name the bear ‘Becki’ and I would purchase it for the studio.

My partner Julia suggested we raffle the bear and raise funds
for a charitable cause. I decided to take it a step further and commission White Fox teddy Bears to create a bespoke ‘one-of-a-kind’ bear that would have a lot of Becki’s personality.

About Becki Bear Tickets are £1.50 each with a minimum purchase of 'TWO Tickets'

Can I please ask that when you purchase your tickets you DO NOT use 'ANONYMOUS' and please forward or take a photo of your receipt and then I can allocate you a number for the draw.

This bear is a true ‘One-Of-A-Kind’ commissioned bear.

  • Standing at 24” tall in ‘Cadbury Purple’ ( Becki’s favourite
    colour )

  • A Silver bow around her neck
  • A little button of Bling! On the upper chest
  • A ‘Pink Duck’ motif ( Flamingo – one of Becki’s obsessions was to
collect Flamingos ) on the right back paw. Designed by her niece Beth
  • An Elephant motif ( another of Becki’s favourite animals ) on
the back left paw adapted by her niece from an original design by Becki’s Mother Janet
  • A ‘Big Heart’ around her neck. ‘It’s a wonderful life’ was one
of her favourite films and inspired her family to have these words adapted for the bear. ‘Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets its wings’
  • Becki Bear was born on 20/10/2020

The draw will take place  on what would have been Becki's 48th Birthday 22nd November 2020 and will be drawn live on my facebook page

https://facebook.com/bentleyportraits and will also be announced on the charity page, Beckis page, and Whitefox teddy bears page

It was Beckis family who suggested Endeavour to be the chosen charity
supported with this raffle

The endeavour project was one of her favourites because it
involved the fostering of family pets caught up in domestic abuse situations.
