Me and the my Hitch Team mates (Sophie Marshall and Freddie Gough in the photo above) are participating in a sponsored Hitch Hike to Croatia in order to raise money for LINK Community Development, Here's why:

There is a severe lack of education in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Children are not being given the opportunities they deserve and have a right to receive. EDUCATION. It is a basic necessity in order to grow and strive for a better life and better education, to expand their minds and their chances of exceeding out of poverty into a new world they deserve to be apart of. Issues concerning every part of their lives range from the fact that they are stuck with no education, carrying on their family trade simply because they have no other way of changing the life they have been born into. This is a CRISIS and the denial of child's right to progress and develop through education.

LINK IS OUT TO CHANGE THIS;
Through tackling the problem at the roots this charity is improving education quality in Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda and Malawi by working with schools, communities and Governments to give children the right to an education.

There is a high demand for the work of Link to extend into other areas which is why they need all the help they can get to spread their mission to other parts of the world.

This is where I come in. ME and two others team mates will be partaking in a hitch hike to Croatia around Easter time in order to raise money for Link and all the terrific work they do. 
ALL OF THE MONEY YOU DONATE GOES STRAIGHT TO LINK 

In order to give the charity as much opportunity to change the lives of thousands of children across the globe in the poorest of areas as we can.

We will use minimal money and supplies within our trio for the 900 mile trek to Croatia, spend some time in the country and then get a flight back to the UK.

Were hoping to document the journey to the best of our abilities so you all can experience it with us and we have some cool photos to show off
