We are raising money on behalf of the maternity bereavement suite at Southend hospital who very sadly have to support more than 50 families a year through stillbriths and late term miscarriages. 

They provide a comfortable and private setting to spend all important time with the babies of these families which is critical to the grieving process. 

The bereavement suite receives no NHS funding and relies on donations to provide amenities for the suite as well as baby hand and foot impressions, photography and literature for families. 

We unfortunately had to spend a few days in the suite last year when we lost our little boy (Maliyah’s big brother) on his due date so know personally what an incredible help Amanda and the bereavement suite are to parents going through the worst time of their lives. 

Please give whatever you can afford to support local families going through something every parent or parent to be wishes they never have to experience.
