Bex's London Marathon: running for Leukaemia Care in memory of Sarah Grow

London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·
I’m running for my friend Sarah, mother of Liana, wife of Jiyar, and dearly missed sister, daughter and friend to many.
Sarah died from complications of treatment for leukaemia in January 2021. I am running to raise money for the charity Leukaemia Care.
I feel privileged to have known Sarah and am proud to be running for her. She was brilliant, generous, curious, talented, and kind. Read more about Sarah here: https://obituaries.seattletimes.com/obituary/sarah-grow-1081569988
I am more than in awe of how Sarah dealt with her illness, and of how Jiyar and Liana have thrived through their grief and despite their sadness. I feel lucky and privileged to know them all.
Please give what you can to support Leukaemia Care’s amazing work to help people affected by leukaemia. Thank you!
