I wasn't going to do anymore fundraising. As you know  the last couple of years  I have raised money for breast cancer after my own experience. I needed something to focus on and to do something close to my heart. 

So 2013 was going to be a quiet year. But through walking for breast cancer I met some remarkable friends. These friends stick together and support each other, and this is how I have found myself signing up for this epic journey. This year I am raising money for SANDS - stillbirth and neonatal death society. One of the lovely ladies raises hundreds of pounds for breast cancer but has been through a completey differnt experience herself, one the most horrendous experiences imaginable and SANDS were there to support her through some of the worst times of her life. By doing this challenge I can support her and also my wonderful friends Alyson and Trish who signed up to support our friend.
