As some of you will know, Jake's Dad Chris was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in late 2021. Knowing little about it beforehand, it has been one of the hardest and cruellest things to watch him and his family go through, and the support from the MND Association has been incredible, and hopefully one day, their research will stop other families having to go through the same pain and a cure can be found 💛

I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon at the end of this month for MND... the very same weekend I finish my PhD and start my new job, 'cause we do love a challenge! 😂 

Always thought infamous left ankle would let me down (hence making this fundraising page so late in the game), but instead the left hip is here to kick up a fuss, but I'm still going to be running the half and hoping to limp across the finish line - because quite frankly, this pain isn't half of what MND patients, and their families, have to go through 🙏
