I am organising a charity gig and raffle in order to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).

The Campaign Against Living Miserably is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. In 2015, 75% of all UK suicides were male. I don't know about you but I think that statistic is truly shocking and I strongly believe in the power of raising awareness and reducing stigma.

CALM offer support to men of any age who are in crisis via their phone line, website and web chat. They also work to actively challenge a culture preventing men from seeking help through different campaigns. Furthermore they push for the much needed changes. CALM also support families left bereaved by suicide, which is something I feel is absolutely vital.

Donations towards CALM mean that these phone lines, websites and web chats stay open. It means that campaigns are supported and ultimately I hope that it can mean men seek help when in crisis.
