Story

St Johns Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Our services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. We have been caring for our community every minute of every day since 1986

After meeting Hailey on this journey in 2019 I was keen to do it again with her to make more memory's together all whilst raising money for such worthy cause.

St Johns hospice is close to many peoples hearts as are many hospices around the country and we a lucky to have such fantastic facilities and staff there to help loved ones when they need it most.

It costs over £5.1 million a year to run the hospice with only around a third of this amount provided by government funding. The remaining two thirds must be raised through events, community donations, grants & legacies. St John’s Hospice has been part of the local community for over thirty years and provides vital service to patients and families all over our community.

So we need YOUR help to keep these fantastic charities going for loved ones, friends, family, people we haven't met yet and people we will never know because everyone deserves the best end of life care and support.
