Story
Im back to challenging myself during this year's Battle Attack obstacle course. By taking part is this mad 5k mud and obstacle course, I will be supporting St Michael's Hospice and raising vital funds to enable the charity to continue to offer care to the local community.
I have seen so many families recently, including my own, who need support after being told that you have a life-limiting illness causing great anxiety and a sense of loss of control. Through the provision of specialist palliative care services, such as a having a wellbeing programme, rehabilitation support, hospice community outreach, social and spiritual support, community support volunteers, bereavement service and an in patient unit, St Michaels Hospice aim to offer tailored care and support to individuals and their families at a worrying time.
So for my first fundraiser of the year, let's start with a local charity!
