Becky & Benson go Burghley to Badminton · 30 April 2018

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.

Story

Benson and I will be walking from Burghley House in Peterborough, home of The Land Rover Burghley  Horse Trials all the way to The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. We are doing this slightly bonkers challenge just for the fun of it! No, obviously I'm joking... we are doing it to raise money for Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony Charity.

If you were to drive door to door it's about 150 miles... but apparently you can't walk along the motorways (whether you have a trusty Labrador or not!) so lord knows how far it will be!

Please support us, Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony Charity does wonderful work funding research in to osteosarcoma and granting equestrian related wishes for seriously ill people and their families. These wishes give people memories, hope, focus and a break from the reality of what they are enduring. I can honestly say I wouldn't be doing this ridiculously long walk for something that I did not believe in with all my heart. Benson, however, would happily do it for no reason at all... probably again and again and again....
