I've been helping the Meningitis Trust http://www.meningitis-trust.org/ at the London marathon for a few years (at their supporters post, collecting runners at the end of the race and at the post-race reception) but this year have decided to try running it.

Whilst helping out I have met a number of other supporters who have lost friends or relatives to meningitis or who have been serverely affected by the disease and your donations will really be appreciated, however large or small.
