But there are many countries in the world where to stand up and tell the truth could see you being beaten, arrested, tortured or much worse. 

That's why I am participating in the 2.6 Challenge for Prisoners of Conscience, which supports those people who have been persecuted for an "act of conscience". The money raised will be used to help women and men who have experienced terror and trauma, all because they stood up for their - and our - beliefs.
