Story

So I bloody did it! Wasn't sure I'd be able to but in the end the event was going well so I could complete the training and the walk itself.

It was a bit mad! Fire was glowing hot - the scary bit was right at start but I faced my fear and transformed it! It was an exhilarating experience.

Humans have been walking on fire for thousands of years and fire walks have been recorded across the globe. The purpose of these rituals vary culture to culture; some are healing rituals or for meting out justice, others are rites of passage or displays of faith. However there is a common theme in that whatever the purpose the act of walking across fire symbolises bravery, spiritual strength and facing your fears.

There is a lot about Fire Walking that chimes with Amber's ethos in that we try to instil into the young people who stay with us that despite the challenges they face they have potential to achieve great things in life.

All money raised will go towards Amber's vital work supporting young people turn their lives around and move on to a better, brighter future.

Now I have done it please sponsor me! 🙏
