In 2023, I am taking on a Mighty Hike along the beautiful trails of the Peak District to raise money for people living with cancer. I've seen the incredible support they offer first hand both in my personal and professional life.  

I been walking next to Cara (@hikingbootsandkillerheels) in some guise for the last 30 years - we've walked into primary school together, over hills and mountains, she's walked with me down the aisle and I walked next to her through cancer (not once but twice). When a Marathon hike was suggested by Alison I knew this was another walk to add to that list (albeit a fair bit longer than I'm accustomed to!)

Macmillan are awesome and I see them provide incredible care week in and week out.  I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
