Becca's Kilimanjaro Climb

Kilimanjaro Climb · 19 October 2019
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. In October 2019 I am taking on the challenge of a lifetime and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Not only is this a huge personal challenge, I am doing it to raise as much as possible to say thank you to two very special places that have played a huge part in my son's care and recovery. I want to raise £2,000 for Heads On, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's charity, which will be split between Langley Green Hospital in Crawley and Shepherd House in Worthing. I have witnessed first hand just how stretched the NHS mental health provision in West Sussex is and I feel impassioned to give something back after they have literally saved my son’s life.
This is a self funded trip, so every penny raised will go directly to Langley Green Hospital and Shepherd House Recovery Unit. Langley Green would like to improve their musical provision by purchasing more musical instruments and funding ongoing music workshops. This is a project close to my heart as music has played such a key part in Joe’s recovery. Shepherd House would love some bicycles for their residents to use, fresh air and exercise being such a crucial part of the recovery process.
Please donate what you can, however large or small. I really appreciate your support. Thank you. Xxx
