This charity is so close to home for me. I spent several years in the early stages of my life living in care. It wasn't always easy but I was lucky to be adopted. My brother spent all of his teenage years in care and is now classed as a care leaver. If he needed somebody to talk to during the Covid 19 pandemic, Become would be there for him. 

I want them to be there for any child in care or any care leaver. Everybody needs somebody. But not everybody has somebody. Let's change that together! 

I will be streaming for 24 hours the 21st/22nd May, playing a variety of games including Call of Duty Warzone, The Sims 4, Jackbox Party Pack 6, Marbles on Steam, Stories Untold and a horror game called Soma. There are goals that Become are aiming for - £10 per hour streamed giving a total of £240 but I have my own goals too.

£1000 – Dani cuts and shaves my ENTIRE head on stream! My hair is currently 21 inches long,
so this is a really, really big deal!

We have 6 games to give away during this stream (all for PC as that is the easiest category I'm afraid) - The Sims 4, The Flame in the Flood, Infested Planet with Trickster's Arsenal DLC, Lego Worlds, Lego Marvel's Avengers and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Every 4 hours, we will play a game of Marbles on Steam to determine the winner of the giveaway!

Many young people who have been in care are facing the coronavirus crisis alone without the same networks of family and friends that most of us can turn to for support. From 6pm 21st May to 6pm 22nd May, I'm taking part in the #BecomePlayers Marathon and will be attempting to complete an almighty gaming marathon.
