I am delighted to be finally running the London Marathon on behalf of World Horse Welfare in 2023. I was due to run the 2020 event but Covid hit and I decided to defer my place until now. 

Very excited to take on this big challenge as a runner for World Horse Welfare and to raise money for all the wonderful work they do around the world for our equine friends. 

Having completed a few half marathons I am (reasonably) confident I can drag myself to the finish line (and hopefully a few bottles of champers as promised by Steve!) 

With just over a few months to go, my training is well underway and I can regularly be found running with around the hills and beaches of Northumberland. 

I am taking such a professional approach to the full marathon that I may even give up my usual Saturday night vinos the night before the race (didn't quite manage that with the Brooklyn half a few years ago….)
