Rough Runner - Finsbury Park 2018 · 8 September 2018 to 9 September 2018 ·

Here for Cats was founded in November 2014 by a small, dedicated group of cat lovers in the Surrey area, all of us experienced in cat rescue and rehoming. At present we operate with a limited number of foster homes, garden pens and the use of space at a couple of local catteries. We are all volunteers contributing our time, effort and experience. In March 2017 we achieved our goal of becoming a registered charity and are ready to move onto the next phase. Our aim is to build a new exciting facility in Surrey centred around the rescue, rehabilitation and homing of cats but also providing a resource for the benefit of the whole community. Donations will help create a self-funded organisation that provides not just for today, but for the future. The centre will allow us to develop our work promoting responsible pet ownership, providing educational and community programmes to promote mutual well-being, understanding, and respect between people and animals, and include activities relevant to all.

Story

Well this could be interesting and a little bit hilarious!

Beech House Vets' finest are taking on a 10k (some 5K) run of mud, obstacles and challenges in a bid to raise some money and awareness for charity.

The charity we support is Here for Cats who are a local group of volunteers who dedicate their time and love to help save and rehome our feline friends.

If you would like to show your support (goodness knows we will need it), then your donations will make all the difference and make the pain and embarrasment worth it!

Wish us luck!!
