It's that time of year again for a group of 8 crazy people known as the 'Beacuse Everybody 'Ere Runs' (BEER) team to do the Addidas Thunder Run 24 for charity and the love of running! A 24 hour 10k relay event that goes through the night.

It was orginally Allie'scrazy idea to do the run and fundraise for Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield where she received treatment for breast cancer. Both the 2010 run and her treatment were a success; She is 3 years clear and we are still running! It will be now be our 4th time and we hope to raise as much money as we can for this year's choosen charity.

For 2013 it's the Eve Appeal for gyanecological cancer.

And this is why...in March this year a close family friend Karen Preedy, lost her fight against cancer at the age of 37. She fought the disease for over 2 years with remarkable courage and grace. Karen has had a remarkable effect on those she has touched and many people have chosen to raise money in her honour. So this year we hope to raise as much as we can to help the Eve Appeal support others like Karen and in combating this disease.
