Story
In October 23 David pushed a 75KG barrel of beer 7 marathons in 7 consecutive days.
He is now back in training for his 2025 beer push which will be even further and harder - news to follow.
In the meantime look out for events and fundraisers during 2024.
The work of It’s on the Ball – with a special shout out to Vince and Anne and the team, really helps to highlight that it is young men – aged 18 -24 – who are most likely to be affected, but by checking themselves monthly they can have a 96% survival rate. However, late diagnosis, just by a few weeks can all too often be fatal as the cancer spreads vigorously.
By raising awareness I hope to stop young men dying needlessly.
We are now working on Beer Push 25 so do please keep giving
Beer Push 25 - in training - details to be announced
Beer Push 23 - 7 marathons in 7 days - 186 miles Job done
Beer Push 22 - North Norfolk to London - 149 miles/ 9 days Job done
You can also learn more about testicular cancer and how to check yourself monthly by visiting: Itsontheball.org
If we can get the word out there and get young men to check themselves monthly, we will save lives.
I must be crazy!!!
