Hello Friends and Family. In September I’ll be walking 21 miles in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise money for the Scout Group I volunteer with.

I’ve volunteered with 19th Pentland for 10 years as a Beaver Scout Leader, I now also volunteer as a District Training Advisor and as Assistant District Commissioner Beavers for Pentland.
I give up a lot of my personal time to Scouting for 2 main reasons;
1) I really can see the difference it makes to the young people who come along
2) I still feel the benefits I got from being a scout as a young person

I’d love for more adults to volunteer with scouts but understand that you may not have the time. So instead I’m asking if you would think of sponsoring my Kiltwalk. 

We are raising money for the group to buy equipment and ensure we can continue to provide an active programme for our young people as well as support some of the older scouts go on an international camp.
