Ramadan is almost here and in sha Allah we will all be given opportunities to benefit from the blessings of this sacred month. 

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Save yourself from hellfire by giving even half a date-fruit in charity”. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 498)

The Ramadan project helps raise money to provide food for those in need.  Food packages will be distributed to poor families in Kashmir (Tredidar) during Ramadan. These food packages include flour, rice, dates, cooking oils, ghee, lentils, sugar and many other food items. The packages will be sufficient to feed a family for the entire month of Ramadan.

In previous years, we have successfully raised between £2000-£3100 GBP and supported between 60-70 needy families. Once again, this year our aim is to reach a minimum of 50 needy families. Therefore,
we must raise a minimum of £2,000 GBP.

Target Amount: £2,000 GBP

Deadline: 10th June 2017

We really need your help to achieve this goal and help those in urgent need. Remember you can also pay your Zakat towards this project.
