Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Chris was killed by a decayed tree in a public park on 29th August 2020 aged 48. He was simply walking our dog Benson on a Friday lunchtime. Sam, his beloved son and my gorgeous stepson is  cycling 100 miles on the Manchester cycle ride and has a big team supporting him from Chris's David Lloyd spin team and other lovely friends who are willing to subject themselves to the pain of the day!!!! Chris did this ride for the last 11 years in honour of a close friend and now you are all doing this for  Chris and supporting him and us in this amazing cause. We were utterly blessed to have 7 god children  so choosing this charity to help other children is totally apt.  There are no other words that can make any of this easier other than i/we cannot believe that  Chris is not here in person. He was the life and soul of everything, kindness, fun, bonkerness,  and all round fun and a monument force for good...he loved life and life loved him and you were certainly blessed on every level to have him and his flip flops  in your life,!!  Sam and I just  cannot fathom Chris’s death  but Sam and I are determined to raise as much money as possible to help other children and families who are suffering and bereaved so please give whatever your can for us and for others in honour and memory of Chris. Hugest love Fi and Sam and Mr B xxx
