Leukaemia Care provides vital support, information and advice to anyone whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. We not only support patients, but carers and families too whose lives are impacted when someone they know and loves receives a diagnosis.

Story

Leukaemia Care is the UK's leading leukaemia charity. For over 50 years they have been dedicated to ensuring that everyone affected receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment and support.

The purpose of Leukaemia care is to improve the lives of everyone affected by leukaemia, MDS and MPN. Over the last 50 years, they have come a long way but there is still work to be done and I am proud to be able to help.

Why am I running for Leukaemia Care?

Charities rely heavily on events such as the London Marathon. The London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet .How lucky am I to be able to say I was a part of it?

Charity running provides you with a sense of pride. Beyond the sense of achievement that I will feel once I cross the finish line, running on behalf of Leukaemia Care will also give me further purpose for completing the race. Achieving personal goals as well as raising valuable funds for a wonderful charity will be an overwhelming feeling of pride.

Knowing that the training will be tough, hard and lonely at times, it will be made easier knowing that I'm running for a purpose that will help to change peoples lives  Running in aid of leukaemia Care will help raise awareness of the charity, which in turn will also help changes peoples lives.

Please get behind me and support me through my journey. Any donations no matter how small will help to change peoples lives.
