This year I decided I was going to challenge myself to run the Great North Run having never done anything of this nature before , I was fortunate enough to be given a place through the ballot entry but for added motivation I wanted to fundraise for Myeloma UK as this is a charity close to my heart and my family’s.

My Mother was diagnosed with this disease in February 2014 and has since been through to bouts of treatment and has been an amazing, strong, focused inspirational woman throughout and we could not be anymore proud of her.

I would appreciate any donation big or small to help this very worthwhile charity, to keep the research going in this area of cancer treatment and to find a cure one day for this disease.
