On June 25th 2018 Hever Castle Golf Club will be hosting a
team of golfers who will be taking on one of the hardest challenges in golf.

The team of Ben Cashen, Daniel Ellis & Nigel Brake will be embarking on a challenge to play 72 holes of golf in a single day.

Ben says, “We’ll be teeing off at 04:30 and expect the final
putts to take place at around 21:30, so around 17 hours of golf, 20 miles of
walking around 300 shots each from start to finish. No golf buggies are
allowed, so for any golf enthusiast this is the ultimate test.”

Everyone who takes on the Longest Day Challenge raises money
for Macmillan so we can help people live life with cancer by providing vital emotional, practical and medical support when it’s really needed. Since 2002, golfers have raised over £9 million for Macmillan Cancer Support. That’s why, to us, everyone who plays is a real hero.

Nigel had this to say, “Hever Castle Golf Club have been
unbelievable in the way they have supported us, they have kindly donated use of the course for the day which saves us paying for green fees. Every penny we raise goes straight to this fantastic charity.”

Daniel adds, “We are hoping to raise upwards of £1,500. The
Longest Day Golf Challenge is a great way to support a really worthwhile cause
and raise money for people affected by cancer.”
