From not being able to walk to climbing above 7000m!

On march 15th 2022 we are taking on the challenge to climb Himlung Himal a 7126m mountain.

Ben ls story - 

Back in 2018 I was serving in the parachute regiment. On this particular day, was a day of parachuting to keep the men current and competent. Unfortunately for me my parachute failed to fully deploy which meant I jumped at 1000ft, reaching a speed of 75mph and hitting the ground 12 seconds later. 

I suffered a L2 Burst fracture to my spine and some spinal cord damage. I was rushed straight to hospital to undergo surgery. When I came round I had no feeling from waste down and with the surgeon telling me I would never walk again. 

Nearly 4 years later, not only am I walk I am about to embark on my biggest every challenge! Not only do I suffer severe pain constant and on high dose of medication, I also have no feeling in my right leg, I suffer from short term memory loss, bowl and bladder issues and have mild PTSD. 

This journey would not be possible without the M2M Foundation who give the opportunity to injured people to get outdoors and prove to themselves and others that anything is possible, you just have to want it. 

Any amount of money will help support me through my journey over the next few weeks and also the next beneficiaries on their own paths.
